For the first time in the UK, executive members from nine clubs/societies came together to organise a joint picnic. The first picnic organised on June 11th, was happily named "Hello Sumer". Sofra restaurant sponsored the event with an attendance of more then 250 professionals who gathered in St James's park to mingle with fellow friends while enjoying the sun and the delicious food by Sofra. Caravansary contributed to the second picnic (shockingly renamed to “Goodbye Summer”!) on September the 3rd, by playing their lovely music to all the guests that attended.

The two picnics managed to gather together people from a wide variety of clubs and backgrounds and this has been a motivator factor for the organisers to continue organising similar events. The picnic organisers were well aware that the success of the picnic was not based on the number of attendees but rather on the very simple notion of simply being able to come together to organise such a big event.
