We consolidate the strength of our membership base and high profile position to provide a broad range of targeted services to help our members grow and manage their businesses.
Trade between the two countries has reached the annual figure of £ 4 billion. Our mission is to help increase this figure by acting as a networking point where business, contacts, and flow of information meet. Our activities in the past have included business briefings, trade missions, dinner dances, boat trips, seminars, dinners at the Turkish embassy and the Houses of Parliament. We work closely with the Department of Trade and Industry as well as the trade section of the Turkish embassy. Our Board members work in sectored groups in order to address issues relevant to each individual business sector. In the coming months, we are aiming to hold one of our Board meetings in Turkey in order to increase the participation of our Turkish members and to consolidate our partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.
