The careers evening organised by ATA in November was a very successful one bringing together many jobseekers among
the Turkish community and informing them about 'How to write a CV, interviewing techniques, Certificate Programs and Work Principles'.
An informal after session was held at the Davy's Pub at St James after the careers presentation where attendees to
the event had the opportunity to speak and ask direct questions to many of the professionals that volunteered to hep at the event.
Professionals were as eager as the new graduates and students to join the night, and gave useful ideas and spoke about their own unique experiences.
When all the new graduates and students left most of the professionals were
still at the meeting place where they also had the chance to talk with each other and discuss
about other subjects related to current issues in the Turkish Community.
The careers evening was efficient and one that was required in helping and guiding new graduates and
students to learn about finding suitable vacancies and other career related issues. |
